Mamat Khalid

I'd met some recognized people for the past few days.

1st Mamat Khalid. We saw him at Nasi Ulam Cikgu at Kota Bharu with his beautiful wife and 2 children. They were just attending a wedding. Her wife said, they really like KB, especially the food. I agree with her regarding the food!



Mamat Khalid is a Malaysian screenwriter and film director of Malay descent. He is the younger brother of cartoonist Datuk Mohammad Nor Khalid, better known as Lat.Before venturing into film maker, Mamat worked in a government office. He is an avid fan of rock music, which inspired him to write and direct his 2005 film, Rock (Wikipedia, 2008).

3rd Dato Hj Ahmad Shahir ibn Hj Daud, former Imam Negara (1975-1980 & 1984-1991 as i'd been told) who had undergone cataract surgery today. He's 72 years old Kelantanese, and a very well tolerated and talkative person who is now filling his free time by teaching youngsters 'mengaji'. I call him 'pak cik', ok ja dia kena pggl pakcik.uhu.
